Ingredients
for 2 onigiri- Cooked rice200 g
- Canned tuna1/2 can
- Nori2 sheets
- Dashi granules1 tsp
- Mayonnaise2 tsp
- Soy sauce1 tsp
- Salta pinch
Steps
- STEP1
In a bowl, combine the drained tuna, soy sauce, mayonnaise, and dashi granules. Mix well.

- STEP2
Mix salt into the warm rice.
- STEP3
If using an onigiri mold, pack half the rice in, place the tuna mayo from step 1 in the center, top with the rest of the rice, and close the mold. No mold? Spread half the rice on plastic wrap, place the tuna mayo in the center, and shape into a triangle.

- STEP4
Place the onigiri in the center of a sheet of nori.

- STEP5
Wrap the nori around the onigiri, top with extra tuna mayo if you like, and you're done!

Tips
Adding dashi granules to the tuna mayo brings out the tuna's umami and adds depth.
Have leftover chopped green onion? Mix it in for extra flavor and color.
